UCC21750-Q1: IN+/IN-/RDY abnormal level

Part Number: UCC21750-Q1

Hi team,

My customer report abnormal level of IN+/IN-/RDY when use UCC21750-Q1, the details are as follows:

case1:5V PWM signal is fed into IN+/IN- after passing through the resistor, measure at the pins, the voltage is only 1.2V

case2:RDY pull up to 5V through a 10K resistor, measure at the RDY pins, the voltage is also only 1.2V

case 1 and case2 happen at the same time, do you know what the problem might be? What checks do we need to do?

Looking forward to you reply!

  • Hi Rickey,

Thanks for reaching out. You can use a DMM (Digital Multi Meter) do continuity check and make sure the resistors is properly soldered on the board or check if there is any short on the board. It might be also good to check if VCC is connected properly to IN+ & RDY through the resistors. Also check if the IC is sodlered well on the board, a loose IC connection may also cause this issue.

    Best,

    Pratik
