Hello:
How to understand this parameter “Gas Gauging-IT Cfg-Term V Hold Time”?
IF Term Voltage=6600mV,Term V Hold Time=50s,Term Min Cell V=3300mV,how does the gauge SOC report 0?

During discharge (abs. current exceeds the Quit Current threshold and was high enough to get the gauge into discharge mode (Dsg Current Threshold), when the battery voltage drops below Term Voltage or the cell voltage drops below Term Min Cell voltage for at least Term V Hold Time, the gauge will force (unfiltered) RM to 0mAh and therefore SOC to 0%.
“FullChargeCapacity reports a capacity or energy available from a fully charged battery reduced by Reserve Cap-mAh or Reserve CapcWh
under the present load and present temperature until Voltage reaches the Term Voltage for a period of Term V Hold Time.”
Attachment is the explanation in the specification;
1. I think it is used for estimating RM and FCC.During discharge,the SOC will report 0 when RM reduce to 0 even if the battery voltage is higher than Term Voltage. Is it right?
2. IF Question 1 is right, I have another question. Whether the RM and FCC includes the capacity for Term V Hold Time(Current * Term V Hold Time)when estimating RM and FCC?
