TPS61165EVM-283: Dimming Mode is Not Working, Can't Communicate via the USB

Seems you need to update the USB2ANY. While you are pressing the button shown below, then open the GUI, I think the update window should come out then.

Could you please tell me what does the "dimming mode not working" mean? Could you change the FB voltage with the GUI?

Hi, when I say dimming, it means the light on the LEDs is stuck at full brightness, I can't adjust the FB voltage.

It seems I need to download the "I 2C/GPIO/PMBUS/SMBUS transport layer DLL driver (PMBus Transport (USB HID).dll) created by TI" driver, where can I find it? 

Hi Jenna,

If you want to update the software version of USB adapter, you need to only connect the USB adapter to PC, then double click the "Firmware Flashing Utility.exe" in the GUI file folder and follow the instructions.

Note that this procedure couldn't be successful if you also connect the TPS61165EVM board with the USB adapter.
