BQ27Z561-R2: No acknowledge from device and fails to write Chem ID

Dear All,

I have designed BQ27Z561-R2 board for battery gauging in our product. I can read register status, change parameters in data memory, send and receive commands. However I fail to write Chemistry ID or Calibrate via calibration window. I suspect error message I receive  "No acknowledge from device" has to do something with this. Prior I ignored this message as PC software bug because I have successful communication. But after reading this forum I realized that this message might indicate that default gauge configuration forces it to shutting down. 

Can someone help how I should approach this problem and find the cause? 

I use EV2300
