LM5146-Q1-EVM12V: Polymer capacitor: input or output?

I check schematic for LM5146-Q1-EVM12V and see electrolytic capacitor on the input.

But when I read slyt639 I see Your guidance to put this type of capacitor on output.

Also when I check schematic for LM5145EVM-HD-20A I see it on output.

So where should I put it in my design?
