Hello experts,

Why most of the single phase pFC output is kept at 400V ?

is it because of any kind standards limiting Single phase PFC out at 400V ?

Incase of any kind of requirement demands more output voltage, it can be achieved by using single phase PFC itself ? only by changing the Set value of the voltage in firmware.

Anoop,

Varying the VBUS voltage can help with meeting forward, and especially reverse conduction power goals by reducing the amount of current flowing under higher load conditions. The TI GaN devices used are limited to 650V, so we wanted to leave some margin for overshoot. The PFC voltage is not required to stay at 400V and is configurable by the user, however for our testing and power simulations we chose to keep it at 400V.
