TPS25990: Power up into short test steps inquiry

Hello expert,

My customer is asking for the step to test power up into short as datasheet figure 7-56. I listed down the procedure i think below and please help to double check if it is correct or not. Thanks!

Short output with Eload or hardware trace.
Turn EN on.
When OC_TIMER is reached, internal FET will be turned off.

Thanks for reaching out.

Please refer to the page 16 in TPS25990 Evaluation Module for eFuse (Rev. A). During power-up into short, the device tuns-off due to the overtemperature protection. Overcurrent blanking timer does not come into the picture here. The timer is only applicable during overcurrent fault.
