Hi,

Can I use TPS628132MQWRWYRQ1 instead of TPS57114CQRTERQ1(Existing) in my application?

My application requirements:

Vin: 4.5V

Fixed Vout : 1.8V

Max.Iout : 2A

Existing Operating switching Frequency: 1.66MHZ.

What Happens if I change switching frequency from 1.66 MHZ to 1.8MHZ or 2.25MHz with same requirements If I want to use TPS628132MQWRWYRQ1?

TPS628132MQWRWYRQ1 is the new generation part for TPS57114CQRTERQ1, so it definitely can work in your application.

Moving with the new device, you need to consider the design guidelines (choosing the optimized input and output capacitors and inductor) indicated in the datasheet.

Apologies for the late response.

Expect a lower ripple voltage and faster transient response with higher switching frequency. Just ensure that that the design guidelines indicated in the datasheet is followed.
