TPS35: Parameters varification

Part Number: TPS35

 Built-in hysteresis (VHYS): 5% (typical). The 5% means 5%*VDD or 5%*VIT-? The test condition of tP_HL “VDD : (VIT+ + 10%) to (VIT– – 10%)” means VDD from VIT+ *(1+ 10%) to VIT–*(1 – 10%)?

  • Hi Steve,

The hysteresis of the device is calculated from the threshold, Vit-, which has a typical value of 5%. Vit+, the de-asserting voltage of an under voltage monitoring supervisor, is Vit+ = Vit- * (1 + hyst). The other half of you question is the overdrive voltage ±10% Vit-, which will determine the reaction time of the RESET/WDO.
