BQ25622: Thermal shutdown behavior

Hi team,

When BQ25622 get thermal shutdown, what's the exact behavior under this condition? Does Vsys still could get power from VBAT through BAT FET?  

Could you help comment on this?

    Hi Will, 

    When thermal shutdown occurs no matter whether the device is in buck mode, boost mode, or battery only mode the converter turns off and BATFET will be turned off to disconnect VSYS from BAT. In this scenario TSHUT_STAT bit in REG0x1F is set to 1b. 

    Then when IC temperature reduces BATFET is re-enabled and if device is in charge mode converter is re-enabled automatically as well. 

    This information will be included in the next revision of the datasheet.
