LM27762: About current limiting

Hi team,

The Vin pin appears to have a current limit of 500mA, but when the device was actually operated, the inrush current was not limited at 500mA.
Is there a time delay before the limit is applied?
Also, how much inrush current is allowed?

    Hi Ryu,

    Have you measured or simulated the inrush current? Did you use a standard EVM or a custom board?

    Typically, the output ramps to the target value quite rapidly and this draws the inrush current.

    If your application can tolerate this inrush current you see, then it should not be a problem.

    The board I measured this time is a custom board.
    The system is fine, so if there is no problem with the device, my problem is solved.
