Hi .

As the title , I wanto promote the UCC27211A or UCC27282 to attack the SCT52A40 .

These are used in the microinverter DC/DC part.

    Thank you for your question regarding the UCC27211A.

    In this case, we want to promote UCC27211A over the UCC27282 for a microinverter DC/DC system.

    Here is a table that I have put together to compare some of the specifications of these 3 devices.

    Some things to take note of on the UCC27211A in the DC/DC system.

    For these systems, you need bi-directional power flow with buck-boost capability, the ability to drive high gate charge MOSFETs, and operate under high switching frequency. Due to the high frequencies, this low propagation delay of the UCC27211A of 20ns as opposed to the SCT52A40 is advantageous.
