Our customer plans to switch from a current transformer (CT) to a shunt resistor + differential circuit detection as a current sensing method used for CSA and CSB.

What kind of things do we have to take care? Are there any recommended designs?

Click on the PDF document link in John Griffin's first reply. This will show an implementation for a specific TIDA design.
Please use this design as an example for the shunt sensing structure and modify the component values as needed to suit your own specific design.
