Hello,
I'm looking for schematic review for below schematic. Also looking for suggestion for BIAS pin connection when Vout is 5.3V, 5A. All the capacitors used are ceramic and do I need more caps at input or output?
Thank you!
Hello,
Since output is greater than 3.3V connect BIAS to Vout to boost efficiency at light loads. Your input and output caps look good. Please doublecheck the value of your feedforward capacitor (C8) using section 8.2.2.7 in the datasheet, it might be too small.

Hello Rahil,
Can you check this?
I made few changes like, removed Pin 7 and 23 connection as per datasheet. Connected BIAS to Vout with 2.2uF bypass cap. Cff according to my calculations comes up to 7.5pF. Any ways to verify this?
Thank you!
You would use the following formula to find Cff
where
Using Vout = 5.3V, Cout = 188.57uF, Rfbb = 23.2kOhm, Rfbt = 100kOhm:
Cff = 237pF
Please double check my math here.
Regards,
Rahil
