TPS62826: Queries related to the TPS62826DMQ part

Hi 

We are planning to use the TPS62826DMQ to generate the 1.1V and 1.2V outputs from 3.3V [Typ].

Can you provide us the inputs for the below mentioned queries list:

  1. Output discharge resistance minimum, typical and maximum values.
  2. What is the minimum and maximum soft start time specifications? Typical value given in datasheet is 1.25ms
  3. Enable high to Vout start-up delay. Please provide minimum, typical, and maximum values.
  4. Inductor value recommendation - 0.47uH or 1.0uH?
  5. Please comment whether the EN input is push pull or open drain?
  6. VOUT high to PG high delay. Please provide minimum, typical, and maximum values.
  7. Let us know EVB test report for 1.2V output?

    As per the d/s, this device is tested & verified for stability for a 470nH inductor. Other inductors are possible, however, please confirm stability for individual application.

    EN is an input pin. Typically input pins are not push pull or open drain.

    What tests do you need with the 1.2Vout. Please be specific.

    Hi Febin

    We are looking for the 1.2V Vout with 0.47uH test report with the below details:

    • Efficiency with 3.3V Vin from 0.5A to 3A
    • En to Vout start-up delay
    • PG to Vout delay
    • Output ripple at no load and 3A load
    • Load transient at 0.5A to 3A

    For the additional test report you requested, we hope to provide you the test results by end of next week. I hope this is fine.

    Do let us know any update on the remaining open queries list.

    Also let us know any internal pull down resistor availability with resistance value details on the EN input ?
