Hi Team,
I'm looking for SPICE model of UCC5871Q Gate driver for one of my power supply designs. While checking on TI website, it was mentioned as request (i raised a request but didn't get any response).
It would be helpful if anyone can help us in getting the SPICE model.
Also, is there any other method to model and simulate the Gate driver (if model is not available)?
Thanks,
Hi Anand,
Thanks for reaching out!
We dont not have a SPICE model of this part, but do have a Simplis model available for our functionally equivalent pin to pin part https://www.ti.com/product/UCC5870-Q1.
That said, for any new designs requiring an SPI programmable gate driver such as UCC5871 I strongly recommend our new part, UCC5880. https://www.ti.com/product/UCC5880-Q1
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your response.
I was performing simulation in LTSpice, so Simplis is new to me. But, is there any chance of getting the same model for LTSpice?
Hi Anand,
We have no plans to create or release a general spice model, and due to LTSpice terms and conditions we are unable to release or support models in LT spice directly.
