TPS546D24A: What the 0xED default setting

Hi Team,

Regarding the TI TPS546D24ARVFR part

We are using materials from two different date code and have observed a power-on issue

2023/5/19

2023/8/21

The client is suspecting that 0xED default value is different, they saw 5/19 was 0x0002 and 8/21 was 0x0000

 

  1. What the 0xED default value is?

 

  1. Is there different between 2023/5/19 and 2023/8/21?

    The default value should be 0x0000h as specified in the datasheet.

    There should be no difference between these two parts.

    Did these devices come from a 3rd party for programming purposes? Or did they come directly from TI? 

    Did the customer change the EEPROM settings over PMBUS?
