Given the high LED device count in our serial production application, we sought the TPS92638; there were sourcing issues and a recommendation (from an unspecified source within our purchasing's network) was given to switch to this four channel device. However, it is not just a 4-channel version of the 8-channel preferred device. Moreover, we require functional safety documentation. Can I please get a recommendation citing an alternative device (as closely matching or exceeding the TPS92638-Q! features as possible and with available functional safety compliance documentation)? Many thanks; this is an urgent request.
P.S.: Using the parametric search, I have only found two LPxxxx devices; these appear to be high-end devices with a broader feature set; the assumption is they are significantly more expensive. For me, just getting a quote in this domain takes too much time. Even a confirmation that these LP devices are the only TI alternative would be helpful. Thanks again,
