TPS23753A: TPS23753AEVM-001

Part Number: TPS23753A

I've converted my TPS23753AEVM-001 to a 3.3V output. That works fine. 7W may be overkill for my design. Can this EVM be further converted to a 3W option? I see that Coilcraft offers a POE30P-33L that is in the same family of transformers. What other parts changes would be needed if this conversion is possible?

POE30P-33L should be good for 3.3V 3W output. Please see the parameters.

24-V and 57-V input voltage, primary FET: 150-V, 100 to 200 -mohm could be used

24-V and 57-V input voltage, secondary diode: >30 V could be used.

Thanks for your reply. So if I look at the original EVM and given your notes above, only the FET would have to change to a lower on resistance along with the transformer? The original secondary side diode already called out a 40V device.

I saw FDC2512 (425mOhm) was used in TPS23753AEVM. It should be ok to keep it (no need to change).
