Hi All,

Does TI have a ref design for an isolated DC-DC converter for automotive applications? Vin = 800Vdc, Vout = 48Vdc.

Hi Giorgio,

While we do not have a current design for 48V out. We do have examples for 800Vin to 24Vout like the PMP10415. . Since Managing the high voltage input is the most challenging aspect of the design altering the output voltage to 48V should be fairly straightforward, Another example starting point could be the UCC28C56EVM. Here to, the schematic would have to be modified to support 48Vout.

thanks for that! very useful. Is there something with higher power ratings, i.e. in the kW range?

Hi Giorgio,

In the kW range normally we recommend our Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge which is the UCC28951. PMP8606 is a 300-W 750-V which might be a good starting point for a kW design.
