BQ76952: Question about BQ76952

Part Number: BQ76952

Hello:

During the testing of charging overvoltage during the use of BQ76952 in a project of our company, it was found that,

(1) Overvoltage protection process: BQ76952 has been configured for protection to occur after 1 second of overvoltage, and the configuration value read from the software is also 1 second. It was found that the actual protection time is usually around 1 second, which is normal in most cases. However, multiple tests occasionally require protection for around 2 seconds, with a high probability of occurrence

(2) Overvoltage protection recovery process: The BQ76952 parameter is configured with an overvoltage recovery time of 1 second, but the configuration value read from the software is 2 seconds. However, the actual recovery time obtained through multiple measurements actually reaches around 3.6 seconds

The measured waveform is shown in the following figure

(Cell overvoltage and overvoltage recovery, with a recovery time of 3.6 seconds)

In response to this situation, please refer to the specification and two key parameters have been correctly set as

May I ask, what is the possible cause of the above phenomenon? How to solve it? Thank you!
