LMR36006: AGND connection

Hello, 

LMR36006 datasheet Section 8.2 shows the block diagram for this IC and AGND and PGND is shown to be connected internally. 

If this is the case, what is the purpose of connecting the AGND and PGND externally ? 

Also the layout example shown in the datasheet has AGND to PGND connection via right in from of the AGND pin (pin6). In this case is the CVCC and RFBB actually referencing the AGND or will it return back to PGND?

    Hi,

    It is recommended to connect AGND according to the method on the datasheet. External connection can make the voltage of AGND more stable. Finally AGND and PGND are connected together. Referring to EVM, connecting through vias can reduce the interference to AGND. Thanks.
