Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SK-AM64B, AM6412
Hi,
I am developing a custom board based on AM6412. As PMIC I would like to use the TPS622053 as recommended by TI and which is used in the SK-AM64B (I am also using LPDDR4).
Is there any reason why the TPS6522053 + AM64x solution is recommended only for VSYS=3,3V? For better efficiency I would prefer to use VSYS=5V (which is already present in the design) instead of VSYS=3.3V which needs to be derived from the 5V with further DC/DC losses. The only reason I can see is LDO1 which is configured as bypass, but this could be solved by powering PVIN_LDO* from the 3.3V rail.
