Version 1.8.95 of Fusion Digital Power Designer is now available for download on ti.com:
Highlights of key changes since 1.8.80 are described below.
UCD92xx:
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Editing DRIVER_CONFIG in “Advanced Config” could crash the GUI. Fixed.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Updated the Switcher Pro database that provides vendor inductors, capacitors, and FETs. A summary of the changes is attached. Note that TPS* FETs are now being filtered, since they are not stand-alone FETs and are used to model TPS controllers in Switcher Pro.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Custom driver editor fixes.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> The recommended IOUT_CAL_GAIN was not being calculated correctly when a custom driver was used in a DCR circuit. Fixed.
UCD90xx:
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Fan speed readings were clipped in the dashboard. Fixed.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> In the System Reset tab, changes to GPIs selected would not enable the “Write to Hardware” button. Fixed.
<!--[if !vml]--> <!--[endif]--> - <!--[if !supportLists]--> Command reference updated.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> GPO Config command format: Status Type is 5 bits length instead of 4 bits length
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Bug fixed: Fan Config Window: Fusion crashes if user select a GPI_PWM pin as Fan PWM Control Pin in Variable PWM mode, then switches to select Simple Enable/Disable mode (since GPI_PWM pin cannot be used as Fan Enable)
Isolated:
- Debug tab for HSFB would crash GUI for UCD3K
- PFC Voltage loop can now reset coefficients for firmware loop.
- PFC Single phase schematic updated.
- Frontend controller would always use FeCtrl0 for reading and writing coefficients for cyclone. Now fixed to properly use what it is supposed to use.
- Added new command for LLC “Light Load Configuration”
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Improved compensator backend
UCD Data Import/Export Improvements:
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Data flash import in “normal” mode now skips blocks that are all 0xFF. Data is written in 4 byte blocks. This helps avoid errors when the device later tries to update data flash, such as when updating logged fault/peak data.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> The script generated by the GUI for normal mode data flash also performs this optimization.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Firmware upgrade and data flash download scripts you can export will now clear data flash logs after the device has returned to program mode.
Misc:
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Various debugger improvements including new watch list feature.
- <!--[if !supportLists]--> Updated Configuration Programming of UCD Devices and Firmware Upgrade of UCD Devices by 3rd Party Hosts Over I2C documents to include more information about JTAG and contain pointers to sample “C” code to perform programming.
