Hi,

Using webench to simulate TPS54340, the conditions are shown in the figure, but there is a problem that cannot be simulated. What is the reason?

Customer input is around 22V, output requires 5V 2A.

According to the above requirements, can the bypass capacitor of TPS54140 input end be used for 1uF?

    Hello,

    I was able to create a design at your operating conditions for the TPS54340: https://webench.ti.com/appinfo/webench/scripts/SDP.cgi?ID=65B73712F2AB4044

    You should be able to use the design in the above link. Webench recommends 4.7uF of input capacitance.

    Section 8.2.1.2.6 of the device datasheet states that at least 3uF of capacitance is needed at the input. You may need more than the 3uF minimum:  https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps54340.pdf
