Hi Team,

Can the BQ27427 support a battery capacity which is as low as 55mAh and a max charge voltage of 4.1V?

    Hello Trenton, 

    The BQ27427 will not work with a battery that has a capacity less than 100 mAh. The BQ27427 uses an internal sense resistor so you would not be able to scale the current easily. You could look into using the BQ27426. Since the BQ27426 uses an external sense resistor, you could use the BQ27426 and have a larger sense resistor. Ultimately in doing this with the BQ27426 device, you could scale the current and then you would get better resolution in SOC and the mAh registers like FCC and RemCap.
