UCC27284-Q1: V_SS Description for DDA Package

Hi team,

I'm BCCing this to my customer because this question is based on the customer inquiry.

For DDA packages, I couldn't find the description of VSS. Could you append VSS description so as not to make the customer confused as below table explains?

    Hey Shoji,

    Thank you for your question regarding the UCC27284-Q1.

    For the description of VSS, you can reference the other Pin Function table for the DRC, DRM, and DPR packages as seen below.

    It seems that the VSS pin (pin 7) is not listed on the table for D and DDA package which I believe is in error but for a description of it you can reference this table. VSS is typically a system ground pin.

    I will look into why this isn't on the datasheet or if we can make a revision to add it though. Thank you for pointing this out.

    So, V_ss description is completely same as even other packages, right?

    Let me know if you get this reason and fix the D/S revision schedule.

    Hey Shoji,

    Yes, that would be correct that the VSS description is the same for all of these packages here.

    I talked with the team and we will plan to fix this by adding it to that table in with the next datasheet revision.
