LM74720-Q1: termination of unused OV pin

Hello Expert,


Our customer is considering to use LM74720-Q1 but they won't use OV function.
In datasheet, it recommend to use less than totally 120kOhm resister to sense Vbat.

For the case of they won't use OV function, should they use pull-down resistor or could they connect PD to GND directly?
They are concerning about current consumption.
I think it is input pin so there isn't any concern but I'd like to make sure about it.

Also, if there is any other concern please let me know.

    Hi Kazuki,

    If OV pin is not used, they can connect OV pin to GND directly. 

    Is customer not using the PD signal as well ? if they are not using the OV signal to drive load switch FET,  they can leave PD pin floating.
