We are using a TPS38700C04. According to the user manual the PEC checksum should be calculated using an initial value of FFh. However this causes a PEC error, whereas starting from a value of 00h -- as is documented for the TPS38700-Q1 as used in the Evaluation Kit -- works.
Please confirm what calculation should be used for PEC with this part and whether the documentation is going to be corrected.
