UCC21750: Oscillations on Gate output

Part Number: UCC21750

Yellow trace is Gate, light blue is DESAT, dark blue is +20v VDD supply.

Gate is oscillating at ~700ns period.  Any idea what's going on here?

    Hi Josh,

    Thanks for reaching out. There can be multiple reasons for ringing on gate which include layout, parasitics, etc.

    I would recommend trying the below solutions:

    1. Increasing the gate resistance

    2. Adding a ferrite bead near the gate of the FET.
