LMR43620-Q1: At low VIN, the load capacity is reduced.

Hi team，

Customers tested using LMR43620MSC5RPERQ1 and found:
When UBATT=6.8V, the load can only reach 1A.
UBATT=12V, the load can reach 2A.

Please tell me, when the input voltage is low, why is the load capacity not strong? Does it meet expectations?

What Vout and switching frequency is the device operating at?

Could you also provide the schematic?

Hi Ray,

Thank you for providing this information.

Could you (1) measure the input current when trying to operate the device at 6.8Vin at 1A load and (2) verify what the input supply current limit is set to?

It is possible that the input supply is being current limited while the device is operating at low Vin under load.
