Hi Expert,
There is a description in TPS3851-Q1 datasheet: when timer overflow, WDO will pull down and generate a reset signal.
May I ask how long the RESET signal will keep? and whether the time tRST is configurable?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Daoyan,
the WDO is an open-drain active low output topology, with a configurable WDO pin reset (Watchdog timeout period). Outlined in the image below are the two programmable timeout options 1600ms and 200ms and how to achieve them. See section 6.6 Timing Requirements in TPS3851-Q1 Datasheet for more details.
Thanks,
Joshua
Hi Joshua,
Thanks for the explanation here. And there are some other questions which also need your knid help:
They know tWD clearly, mainly want to know how long the reset signal generated by WDO-pulling down will last? can it be configured by tRST?
Datasheet mentions it's about 200ms when overdrive, will it keep the same when Watchdog timeout?
Thanks and let me know if any questions!
Best regards,
Daoyan
