BQ76952: OT protection triggered repeatedly

Dears,

my customer using BQ76952, they conducted over temp protection function by fixing the TS3 to 225 degree C and found that the OTC/OTD alert bit set and then reset and repeated the cycle.

the OTC/OTD protection should be triggered and kept as the over temp issue did not dismissed, but seem the device release the fault status by itself strangely.

    Hi Andrew,

    Could you capture a waveform of the RST_SHUT pin voltage while the device is doing this? I think the device may be accidentally triggering a partial reset.

    On a side note, LD should not be pulled to VSS while the DSG driver is being used. R7 should be removed. I don't think R7 is the cause of this issue, but it could cause other issues later.
