BQ76942: Difficulty programming IC

Hey team,

I have a fairly open-ended issue, but the customer (Totex) wants some clarity on this. They're having trouble with the programming voltage requirement on the 76942/52, and saying it's hard to program the IC after cells are connected. Let me know if there's any starting point to this issue and we can work through this.
