The problem is as follows. We use the LM5020-2 as a flyback converter 24V250V/15mA. The flyback converter is actually running, but we have a subharmonic oscillation with f_sw/2 on the signal. The duty cycle changes with half the working frequency.
This is certainly a problem, which we will encounter in the EMC chamber at the latest. The LM5020-1 has an internal slope compensation. This would possibly eliminate this problem. However, we would rather use the LM5020-2, because it is limited to 50% duty cycle, which also helps the safety aspect in this application. I think something went wrong here in the compensation. I would like to have that clarified.
