CC1352P: Custom Boards in Field Stop Working, Fixed with Reflash of Software

We have a customer who has customer boards with this chip on it. We flash the software and test to boards before sending them to the field. We have gotten about number of units back with different reported issues and each one seems to be fixed with a simple reflashing of the software. The boards are conformal coated, they were exposed to the heat of the south in the US. They are powered by a battery and a solar panel. What could possible be causing the software to become corrupted?

    Hi Michael,

    We would need a lot more information to be able to help you. 

    1. How long have the boards been deployed? 

    2. Has there been any design changes compared to the launchpads. 

    3. Has the software been stress tested before deployment?

    4. Is the chip exposed to temperatures out of the range mentioned in the data sheet?
