Hi Team,

In the TI .com, LM5066I mention it can support up to 500 A current limit (max) (A).

Customer is wondering is it possible ? Does TI have a real case that support up to 500A ?

What is that design condition?

Which Voltage and how many MOSFET in parallel and which MOSFET part number is it ?

Sure, no problem.

By the way, if use Efuse like TPS25985, then it should be no Imax limit in generally right?

Which mean it can use a lot Efuse in parallel and no number limitation if we does need ?

Hi Kai,

500 A design with LM5066I is not possible. Maximum 5-6 MOSFETs can be in parallel. Approximately, 100 A to 120 A design is possible with LM5066. We will rectify this "500 A" number.
