TPS25750: configuring with gpio or adc1

Hi,

I dont want to configure TPS25750 with İ2c. is it bpossible to confiugure power rate of ic(flike 20v 5a ) with ADC or GPIO pins? TPS25750 will do only one job.

Hi,

It is unclear what power role you want TPS25750 to be in, can you clarify you want the PD controller to act as sink or source?

sink mode I want to power Raspberry pi 4 with usb type-c. TPS25750 has DRP and sink mode and in the datasheet, It says that – No firmware development or external microcontroller needed.

Hi,

I see, so this will be a sink only application.

What sink PDO you are looking at, 5V3A, 9V3A, 15V3A, 20V3A?

15V3A or 20V3A I couldn’t choose it yet.

Hi,

In this case then you will need a EEPROM that stores the TPS25750 configuration so when TPS25750 boot up it will read the configuration in EEPROM automatically.

Once the configuration is loaded the PD will negotiate the highest PDO the source can provide.
