TPS23731: Can we use PoE transformer POE025-PD13120S as alternative to LDT1069-50R in reference design?

Can I check if i can used PoE transformer as an alternative to LDT1069-50R as per TI PoE reference design?

    Hi KPK,

    From the windings' voltage / current aspects POE025-PD13120S looks ok.

    For primary side regulation transformer, AUX and SEC needs very good coupling and noise immunity capability for example the AUX winding needs to be close to SEC winding. Secondary side regulation does not have this requirements.

    If you designed TPS23731 using primary side regulation flyback, you may need to check with POE025-PD13120S' vendor if the transformer is designed for primary side regulation.
