I am working on a project and the battery currently hits a valid charge termination (VCT) once the battery is sufficiently charged. Unfortunately after I have discharged the battery even to almost empty, the charge FET is unable to be toggled and I cannot seem to get back to pre-charge mode without a device reset (sending 0x41 00 command to 0x3E register).
Any suggestion on a better way to get back into pre-charge mode through a command that doesnt reset the device? Here is a picture of the registers after charging.
