LMR51430: Alarm in Webench

Part Number: LMR51430

Customer is trying to evaluate the device with specific conditions. After evaluating it by WeBENCH,  it shows exceed the temp and doesn't work.

May i know the criterion detail. what's the limitation? is it TJ?

    Hi Brian,

    Because the chip version you selected has a switching frequency of 1.1MHz, FPWM. So its power loss is larger, 1.38W. At this time, Tj exceeds 150°, so webench reports an error. You can let customer to choose our 500kHz version. Thanks.
