Customer met some questions during the evaluation for BQ79718-Q1. One BQ79718-Q1 only use 14 channels. VC15 to VC18 are shorted together. But they found that the read cell voltage between VC14 and VC13 is 0.3V lower than set value on cell #14. Other channels are as expected. They have 12 BQ79718s in the system, the phenomenon are the same.
Customer also tried to leave unused channel floating, but the results are the same.
May you kindly help provide some suggestions for us to find the root cause?
