BQ76952: How to avoid SCD protection caused by peak in discharge pulses

Part Number: BQ76952

Dears,

The BQ76952 is used in AGV BMS systems, end customers always trigger SCD when they do reliability tests, but they don't think it's a real short circuit.

   Test condition:

AGV works continuously for a few days or a week, BMS system cyclic charge and discharge.

   Fault:

SCD is accidentally triggered during discharge, the duration is too short , can not capture instantaneous waveforms. The customer does not think that it is a short circuit fault, that it is caused by instantaneous pulse; This error needs to be eliminated.

Improvement measure:

The SCD voltage threshold is maximize, and adjusted R28, R25,R26, SCD delay maximize, SCD will still be triggered.

Customer demand:

1. SCD protection can not disabled.

2. Do not shut down the MOSFET and stop the AGV from working due to the SCD trigger.
