Our new USB PD 140W design we have used LM5176 converter. our expected PD voltage profile is 5V, 9V, 15V, 20V and 28V. In our prototype we have observed that Dc-DC converter is shouting down after 9v profile. Infineon CYPD3175 PD controller we have used to control the FB pin voltage for varies pd profile. for verification purpose we have updated the software to increase the converter output voltage linearly from 5V to 20V but we found voltage start increased from 5V gradually upto 10.2V and continue constant 10.2V only. Let us know lm5176 is capable for change the output voltage linearly without restart (5V to 28V output from 24V input voltage) ? find the attached schematic file and request to review and help us to solve this issue.
