I was testing with the EVM normally, using the EV2400. I then programmed it with a file I received from my customer (*.bq.fs) and the device could no longer connect (grayed out picture in the dashboard). What are my options? Is there a way to clear the entire device and start over?

If the device is in shutdown, re-launch BQStudio while pressing the wake button.
Best scenario is that the device is in ROM mode. To exit ROM mode please re-launch BQStudio, navigate to Advanced Comm SMB tab and send the 0x08 command to exit ROM mode. 
If the device is not in ROM mode, it might be bricked and I do not think it will be possible to recover from that state.
