We have planned to use the emergency shutdown feature using push button, which requires high to low transition of the SHUTDN pin to disconnect the system from the pack.
By default, for the pin is said to System present mode ([NR] = 0) which is active low. Hence it requires to be pulled down in order to turn ON the FET's initially.
So, we doubt here that after configuring the flag [NR] = 1 and DA, to switch to Shutdown feature, how to we use external push button to provide high to low transition as it is already pulled down.
Note: we are trying to achieve ship mode kind of feature with BQ4050
Also, another question (not related to above), how to terminate PCHG and fuse pin if it is not used?
