BQ25798: BQ25798 EMI FAILURE DURING CHARGING

Hi Team,

We are using BQ25798RQMR battery management IC in our design. We are facing EMI failure during charging. Below are the conditions below,

1) We have set charge current to 500mA .

2) We are seeing EMI Failure, only during charge time and the failure is at 130MHz.

Please help me out to solve the above issue.

    Hi Muralikrishna,

    Did you try lowering the switching frequency to 750kHZ?  If that didn't help and assuming you followed the datasheet recommended layout below (esp the small C1 and C2 on top of the IC and connected to IC GND) then the next step would be to add a snubber from SWx to GND.  The snubber must be sized from empirical measurements on your PCB.
