TPS7H4010-SEP: Details on tests performed for TID radiation report

Part Number: TPS7H4010-SEP

Dear Sir or Madame,

could you please share some more details about the tests performed in your TID Radiation Report.

I noticed that some parameters are not listed in Table 6.5 of the datasheet.

Why do you perform several, different tests for the same parameter? What is the difference here?

Could you please share the measurement schematics and configuration (e.g. supply voltage, state of the pins, load resistors, ...) of the DUT for each of the tests with us?

Thank you in advance and best regards,

Lukas Huber

  • Hey Lukas,

Figure 2-1 shows the schematic for the radiation testing.

All tests listed are part of our testing procedure.
There are LDR/HDR tests over different radiation levels and biasing.
There is also often different parameters levels for the test

i.e. Ishdn is tested at different VIN levels.

The datasheet lists all test conditions that you would use to recreate the test.
The datasheet and measurements done in the TID report use the same tests.

    Thanks,
    Daniel

  • Hello Daniel,

    thank you for your reply!

Do you mean chapter 7 of the datasheet or just that the table in the TID report matches the one in chapter 6.5?

Did I read the TID report correctly that the Ishdn is tested beyond the recommended operating voltage of 32V? Tests 2.3 and 2.4 use an input voltage of 36V and 50V?

Thank you again and best regards,

    Lukas

  • Hey Lukas,

Some tests were done outside of recommended operating range, however there is a radiation limitation on the VIN of the device.
It looks like these tests were included rather than excluded in the release of the part

    Thanks,
    Daniel
