Hi Eddie,
Thanks for reaching out. The resistor is not a must requriement.
(1) If no EN signal, you can use a top resistor and bottom resistor for EN.
(2) Another way is to have EN signal to control (<5.5V).
Thanks and kindly let us know anything unclear!

Hi Lucia and Expert,
If i do not have EN control and need it , Can i just let the EN pin keep flat ?
Do I see any risk in here ?
Eddie
Hi Eddie,
Could you please clarify "let EN keep flat"? Do you mean floating EN pin?
Thanks!

Lucia
Hi Eddie,
If you mean EN pin floating, it can not enable the device. TPS563252/7 EN default is low which means that if it's floating it will not enabled. TPS562242 (2A) default status is high if you would like to make EN floating.
Thanks!
