TPS65235: TPS65235: Use as a receiver to be integrated into an LNB

User Louis McCotter posted a question 6 months ago asking about the TPS65235 being integrated in a LNB design which seems to have gone unanswered. I want to design a LNB that uses DiSEqC2 to communicates back to the receiver unit. Is this chip suitable in that setting? If not, is there a suitable substitute in TI's catalog.

Hi Leif,

TPS65235 will be suitable as low noise block regulator used in LNB. TPS65235 support DiSEqC2. which is bi-directional communication and support both transimission and receive mode.

Hi Lucia - So - I have the TPS65235 EVAL board for DiSEqC2 (Eval Board Datasheet). I've attached a drawing of my plan for a basic testing setup. I have the J2 output of the EVAL Board going into the DC port of a Bias-Tee. Any comments or concerns here?
